Welcome to HiPEM-TECH2022: Workshop on High Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell Technology – Materials and Applications

June 22th – 24nd, 2022 in Bad Zwischenahn/Germany

HiPEM-TECH is the workshop about the technology of high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cells and brings together representatives from research and industry to present and discuss recent advancements in materials up to applications. Participants will gain valuable insights into the development of this field and the progress towards marketability.

The upcoming HiPEM-TECH2022 will take place from June 22nd to 24th, 2022 in Bad Zwischenahn and is the beginning of a new workshop series which will be hosted every two years by the German Aerospace Center in Oldenburg (DLR, Germany), Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST, South Korea) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU, Denmark). In addition to invited and contributed talks, a poster exhibition offers scientists and especially young researchers and students the opportunity to present their work and includes a price for the best poster. The get-together and conference dinner provide additional opportunities for lively scientific exchange in a familiar atmosphere and beautiful location

Organising Committee

Peter Wagner – DLR Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics (DLR, Germany)

COVID19 Regulations

After two years of limitations due to COVID19 we are very pleased that the workshop is planned to take place in presence. We strive for the maximum possible safety. For this please note the tab Event Safety and Hygiene.

Due to current regulations participants have to confirm their vaccination protection or health recovery (2G). Please note that a participation in the workshop is only possible with a vaccination certificate or proof of recovery (in case of health recovery the time period between infection and presence may not exceed 6 months).

Please check also the upcoming workshop EMEA2022, which focuses on ion exchange membranes for energy applications and more specifically on AEM and AEM based systems, and will be held just before HiPEM-TECH from June 20th – 22nd, 2022 at the same place:
